For derailments, our engineers then utilize VAMPIRE Pro railway vehicle dynamics software to examine the manner in which particular factors may have contributed to causing the derailment. VAMPIRE Pro (Vehicle Analysis Modeling Package in the Railway Environment) enables our staff to develop dynamic models of rail vehicles and to study their response to actual or hypothetical track conditions. Actual wheel and rail profiles, along with the worn condition of vehicle and track components, can be incorporated into these simulations.
